The California Pain Medicine Center provides a 20-day intensive pain management rehabilitation program. The program involves daily therapies and is four weeks, or a month, in length.
The rehabilitation program includes medical management and various types of therapy. These include neurobiofeedback therapy, physical therapy, and psychotherapy. Patients will receive additional methods of treatment such as chiropractic or specialized care if required.
Transportation is available to all daily appointments. The program’s goals are centered on helping patients develop independence and autonomy. Treatments are individualized to suit the specific needs of patients.
After a successful rehabilitation period, the patient should have improved pain management, experience improvement in coping and stress management, improved endurance and stamina, family involvement, and autonomy in planning for the future.
