Overview

Our approach starts with a thorough evaluation and careful treatment plan. We begin treatment with conservative interventions and then progress to more aggressive modalities if indicated. Our multidisciplinary focus utilizes a team treatment model, with involvement in the patient's care by specialists in ancillary disciplines (e.g., physical medicine and rehabilitation, clinical psychology, neurobiofeedback and physical therapy).

Treatments include the use of the latest advances in pain management technology, such as implantable devices (spinal cord stimulators and neuroaxial drug delivery systems). Other modalities which we use include injections (e.g. epidurals) and pharmacological treatments. We also offer a residential pain management rehabilitation program. If specialized care is needed, our practice benefits from close proximity to the subspecialty physicians at the UCLA Medical Center.
